Waterjet Cutting | Water Jet Cutting | Features & Advantages of CNC Water Jet Cutting

Water jet cutting uses a jet of mixture of water and an abrasive substance at high velocity and pressure, so that it can penetrate or slice into metal and other materials. It is often used during fabrication or manufacture of parts for machinery and other devices where high thickness needs to be cut.

Features: No need for tooling, precise cutting, no burrs in cutting, easy repeatability of cutting designs, can cut both metals and plastics (and also non-metallic materials like marble, stone, plywood, etc.), suitable for short runs.

Typical parts: Any flat part of thickness 1.0 mm to 80 mm thickness (in steel), 4.0 to 40.0 mm (in aluminum) and 5.0 mm to 50 mm (in acrylic), with 0.1 to 0.5 mm dimensional tolerance and taper depending on thickness.

Max. part size: 3750 mm length x 1800 mm width x thickness as above.

(Note: For parts outside this size range, we will send offers within 5 working days.)
