PULTRUSION
Pultrusion is a process for making reinforced thermoset objects having constant wall thickness from materials such as polyester, epoxy, vinyl ester resins. For reinforcement different classes of glass woven filaments are used depending upon the end use.
Features
<!--[endif]--><!--[if !supportLists]-->
- Exceptional strength to weight ratio.Chemical and corrosion and electric shock resistant (low thermal and electric conductivity).
- Has excellent dimensional properties and wide temperature and at harsh weathering exposure.
- Ease of fabrication.
- Colors can be imparted and hence can be coded with different colors for different applications.
Typical parts: Cable trays, sections, pipes, ladders, X country pipes for transporting fuels and other suitable chemicals, tent poles, umbrella rods, fishing rods, rails, green house frames, windows, cooling tower, signal towers, space frames, fence post, bridges etc.
Max. part size: 2 mm dia rod / strip to 300 mm wide pultruded part or 300 mm diameter round object.
Can be supplied at any cut lengths.
Note: For parts made by this process, we will send offers within 10 working days.
