Injection Molding

Custom Parts made of Injection Molding can be supplied to specification by Custom Parts Online. INJECTION MOLDING (or) injection moulding is a process for forming objects from plastics, by heating the molding material to a fluid state and injecting it into a mold. It is used to make thin parts with high accuracy, intricate details and high productivity. Injection molding needs tooling (male dies and cavity molds) to achieve the desired component.

Features: Custom tooling needed, precise dimensions and details, mainly for plastics (at times some metals too), suitable normally for long runs (short runs possible with manual or semiautomatic process).

Typical parts: Most 3 dimensional parts, such as bottle caps, casings, boxes, etc., with 3 mm max. thickness (normal), with 0.1 to 0.3 mm dimensional tolerance depending on dimensions.

Max. part size: 750 mm length x 750 mm width x 200 mm height with 5 mm max. wall thickness (normal) - max. weight: 5 kg (250 grams only with manual/semiautomatic process).

Note: For parts made by this process, we will send offers within 5 working days.
